Victoria (Tori) became proprietor of Lady Grey in 2019 having worked alongside the former proprietor Debbie to create a highly successful multi-award winning tearoom, in this pretty Buckinghamshire market town.

Jonathan joined the team in 2021 and together they have continued the high standards at the tearoom, that has led to it being a Tripadvisor “Traveller’s Choice”.

“Our aim has always been to provide a tasty range of ‘home baked’ cakes and sweets and to offer a comprehensive range of traditional teas. Like the hugely popular tearooms of yesteryear, that were once widespread, throughout the country.”

The Lady Grey Tearoom

Just off the High Street, tucked away in it’s own little courtyard you will find our little teashop.

There was a time when everywhere had little teashops like ours, before the ‘chain’ coffee shops moved in, with their less traditional alternative.

The Lady Grey Tearoom is rather more traditional, a little more British and makes no apology for this fact.

We are delighted that so many lovely people seek us out, for we work very hard to ensure that we provide something different, a little backwater away from the rush, where everyone can enjoy a quiet moment or two with friends.

Do come and see us, we would be delighted to see you!

You never know who will ‘pop in’…

The Lady Grey Tearoom has always had an envious reputation for quality and value, as can be seen by our many Tripadvisor comments. This has resulted in many well-known people dropping in, like television’s super cook Mary Berry, the delightful Charlie Ross popping in for a cake during his Antiques Roadshow visit to Wendover and the lovely Philip Sewell from BBC Televisions “Flog It” and many other antique programmes.
